What to expect on the first visit

Your first consultation will last an hour and involve an in-depth discussion of your presenting condition, as well as covering your past medical and family history, diet, lifestyle and emotional health.  I’ll go through with you the functioning of all your body systems and may carry out diagnostic examination of the tongue, pulse, eyes and blood pressure as indicated.  This hour is for you to discuss YOU and any problems you want to talk about. 

Thereafter, I’ll usually prescribe herbal tinctures or supplements as well as giving dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

Ongoing treatment

Follow up sessions usually last 30 minutes although more time can be booked if required.  We will review how you are feeling and how the treatment is going; discuss any ongoing and new issues and review your herbal, dietary, lifestyle and supplement programs.

Initial consultation

1 hour  £65

Follow up consultation

30 mins  £40

After an initial face to face consultation, follow ups can be arranged by phone or Skype if appropriate for your condition.

Medicines

Costs of supplements and herbal medicines are not included.

Herbal tinctures are usually prescribed and cost £10 per week’s supply.

Intervals between follow up consultations vary with each person but are typically once a month, so I will usually dispense a month’s herbal medicine supply at each consultation.
